You can reach Ropi Lake by climbing up beside Horsetail Falls from US Highway 50 near Twin Bridges.
This route is dangerous, short (only about 2 1/2 miles), but quite spectacular.
There is no trail. Just follow along Pyramid Creek. You can't miss it
We recommend, however, you not take this dangerous route.
