Suzie Lake is only about 4.5 miles from the Glen Alpine trailhead.
To reach the Glen Alpine trailhead from Echo Lake Camp, you'll motor down highway 50 and take highway 89 at the 'Y'. About 3 miles north of the 'Y' turn left onto Fallen Leaf road.
Drive about 5 miles along Fallen Leaf road, passing through the development along the south shore. Take the bridge over Glen Alpine Creek and park at the Glen Alpine Trailhead.
