Elephant Head
Pedicularis groenlandica is also called:
- elephanthead lousewort
- Pink Elephants
- Greenland Lousewort
Pedicularis is Latin for lousy. People used to think that sheep would get lice by eating this plant.
Pedicularis groenlandica is a member of the Scrophulariaceae or Figwort family.
