Yarrow is a composite flower of the Asteraceae family.
Each flower head is composed of many tiny flowers called florets.
The pinkish center of each flower head consists of 15-40 Disk Florets.
There are 3-8 white outer petal-like florets called Ray Florets. Actually, each ray floret has a single ligule 2.5-4 mm in length.
