Yarrow

Achillea millefolium is also known as:

Achillea millefolium is a member of the Asteraceae or sunflower family.

It is named for Achilles, who used the plant to abate the bleeding of wounds.

The species name, millefolium, means a thousand leaves and describes the fine, feathery fern-like foliage.
