Lake Audrain is about a mile south of Echo Lake Camp on the other side of US Highway 50. |
The Washoe Indians harvested lily seeds and stored them in a hole for a few weeks.
The fermented seeds were then dried, roasted, and ground into flour for bread and cereal.
This lily floats peacefully upon Lake Audrain.
