Mule Ears

You can expect one flower head on each plant.

Mule Ears is a composite flower of the Asteraceae family.

A flower head is composed of many tiny flowers each of which is attached to a receptacle.

There are many central Disk Florets with 10 mm. yellow corollas. The anthers are brown or yellow.

The 5–11 yellow, petal-like Ray Florets on Mule Ears have corollas of 30-45 mm.
