Mule Ears

Wyethia mollis is known by these names:

Wyethia is for Nathaniel J. Wyeth (1802-1856) who collected specimens for Thomas Nuttall.

Mollis is Latin for the soft and hairy leaves.

Mule Ears are in the Asteraceae or Sunflower Family.
