Pony Express

The Pony Express delivered the mail between St. Joseph Missouri & Sacramento California from April 1860 through November 1861.

It passed near the location of Echo Lake Camp.

Their goal is to re-establish, identify and re-ride the historic pony express trail.

They are scheduled to pass Picketts Junction, Hwy 88 & Hwy 89, near Echo Lake Camp around 5 the morning on June 19th, 2008.
